Nova DBA, a data services provider with 20+ years of experience, faced repeated attacks on clients’ e-commerce sites hosted in AWS. Their existing tools gave no actionable visibility into attack sources, Indicators of Compromise, or the severity of network slowdowns, leaving Nova DBA and its customers unable to detect or respond effectively without refactoring their multi‑tier applications.
Nova DBA deployed NETSCOUT CyberStream sensors and Omnis Cyber Intelligence in a dedicated Security VPC, using AWS Gateway Load Balancer Endpoints and traffic mirroring to feed packet-based Smart Data enriched with ATLAS threat intelligence. The deployment delivered real‑time visibility into threats and IoCs, enabling faster detection, investigation and remediation, reduced MTTR, and improved NetOps–SecOps collaboration — lowering risk of data exfiltration, ransomware and service disruption.
