Banco Votorantim, one of Brazil’s largest privately held banks (founded 1988, ~4,000 employees), operates a complex network of branches, web services and call centers supporting retail and wholesale banking, consumer finance and wealth management. As the bank expanded domestically and internationally, its legacy troubleshooting tool lacked the real‑time, end‑to‑end visibility into voice and data application services needed to maintain high-quality customer experiences and rapidly isolate service issues.
The bank deployed NETSCOUT’s nGeniusONE Service Assurance platform with InfiniStream appliances, an nGenius Packet Flow Switch and branch tools (OptiView XG, TruView Live, nGeniusPulse) to monitor critical applications (online banking, loan and card authorization, VoIP, WiFi). This provided actionable, non‑intrusive visibility, dramatically reduced mean time to resolution, enabled proactive problem avoidance, minimized downtime and improved overall service quality for customers and business units.
