A NETSCOUT Case Study
A top-25 North American airline serving over 4 million customers monthly moved to a complex hybrid reservation architecture spanning Equinix data centers, AWS, Azure and global SaaS providers. Because their core reservation system ran in an AWS Lambda serverless environment, the airline had no visibility into availability or performance and needed a way to detect and resolve issues quickly to protect the customer experience.
NETSCOUT provided nGeniusONE (with ISNG and vSTREAM) for packet-wire visibility plus nGeniusPULSE with nPoint virtual agents in AWS and Visibility-as-a-Service support to run continuous Business Transaction Tests against the Lambda environment. The combined passive and active monitoring closed the visibility gap, delivered early alerts and forensic data for faster troubleshooting with AWS, and ensured reliable availability and performance of the reservation application.
