Greene Information Systems, an MSP focused on modernizing IT for SMBs, confronted major scaling challenges as it moved from legacy RDS environments to cloud desktops—lacking Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) expertise, struggling with Azure cost planning, and needing streamlined processes to support M&A-driven growth. To address these gaps they implemented Nerdio’s platform, specifically Nerdio Manager for MSP, to accelerate AVD adoption and operationalize cloud desktop services.

Using Nerdio Manager for MSP, Greene deployed its first AVD environment in under an hour and used scripted actions, the unified catalog, and Microsoft Intune integration to standardize deployments, enforce policies, and meet strict NIST/federal compliance for a mortgage client—avoiding what would have been hundreds of thousands in alternative compliance costs. Nerdio’s TCO calculator and automation enabled Greene to manage hundreds of nodes across dozens of clients, improve forecasting, lower operational overhead, and scale acquisitions more profitably.
