Transforming User Experience for Google Cloud Next

Nerdery partnered with Google Cloud to transform the digital experience for Google Cloud Next, the fast-growing annual cloud event. The challenge was to deliver a cohesive, scalable web and mobile experience that handled robust session booking, simple navigation for hundreds of sessions and audiences, multi-channel livestreaming, and fast offline access for both in‑person attendees and a global remote audience.

We designed and built native iOS and Android event apps, a multi‑event website, and a unified backend API, iterating with Google on livestream (Next OnAir) and session-discovery features while emphasizing security, accessibility, and clean code. The eight-month engagement produced 25,000 app downloads and 330,000 keynote livestream viewers, and established a reusable, scalable codebase for future events.
