Madrid Digital launches Grants Platform with NEORIS, processing 300,000 requests in 1.5 days

Madrid Digital, a public organization promoting digital transformation for the Administration of the Community of Madrid, faced challenges in improving transparency, data access, and the management of grant administration procedures. They partnered with vendor NEORIS to develop digital alternatives that would enhance the quality of life for citizens and streamline administrative processes.

NEORIS developed two key solutions: the "Madrid Air Quality" mobile app and a "Grants Platform." The app provides citizens with immediate access to air quality data and forecasts, achieving high user ratings upon release. The platform automated and unified grant management, drastically reducing processing times. This allowed for the management of hundreds of thousands of applications, enabling citizens and companies to receive aid in less than a month for various programs, including COVID-19 relief. The project was recognized with awards for its digitalization of citizen services.
