Communities Foundation of Texas faced the sudden need to convert its flagship North Texas Giving Day into a rapid, virtual collaboration in response to COVID-19, partnering with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and the Dallas Cowboys. To ensure security, reliability, and speed under high stakes and a compressed timeline, the Communities Foundation of Texas used Neon One’s Neon Giving Days platform.
Neon One hosted and powered the modified giving-day site and tools, enabling joint branding, new early-giving rules, and quick virtual training for nonprofits. The result was an 18-hour event that raised $20.7M for more than 2,500 North Texas nonprofits plus $21.8M in COVID-19 relief funds (over $42.5M total), engaged 45,000 donors, and saw 9,400 donors pledge roughly 300,000 volunteer hours—demonstrating Neon One’s role in a fast, secure, and effective virtual giving solution.
