Preservation Houston, a nonprofit protecting Houston’s historic resources, was hampered by tracking everything in spreadsheets—hitting Excel column limits and losing capacity to manage contributions, events, and memberships. They chose Neon One, implementing Neon CRM and Neon Membership to replace manual spreadsheets with a cloud-based system that could handle membership management, renewals, events, online forms, and donation tracking.
Neon One migrated 2,000 individual and company records, cleaned duplicates, provided a Data Import + Configuration consultation, and assigned a Client Success Manager for ongoing support. As a result, automated renewal emails, improved event and donation tracking, and easier online giving drove a 300% increase in total general donations and a 32% increase in memberships, while staff time on mailings and data tasks dropped significantly.
