Neo4j Keeps Millions of Remote Workers on Citrix Safe, Productive, and Secure

Citrix, a leader in remote work and virtual desktops, needed to better secure and monitor more than 16 million virtual desktops and 150 million devices as its analytics data grew more complex. As Citrix Analytics expanded, the company struggled to manage and analyze deeply connected relationships in traditional relational tables, making threat detection, performance monitoring, and scaling difficult. Citrix turned to Neo4j for a graph database and analytics platform.

Neo4j helped Citrix build a multi-tenant graph model to store and analyze relationships across users, devices, apps, desktops, and locations with sub-second query performance and strong data isolation. The Neo4j-powered system now supports 25 million nodes, 150 million edges, and 40,000 queries per hour, while running across three Azure availability zones for high availability and recovery. This has improved Citrix’s ability to detect threats faster, maintain privacy, and scale securely with its customers.
