Kale Yazılım, represented by Project Manager Irfan Nuri Karaca in Ankara, has worked with Turkish citizen and census data for nearly 20 years. Their challenge was uncovering complex family connections—such as identifying seniors without nearby relatives—from large relational datasets, a task that proved nearly impossible and inefficient with SQL alone.

About three years ago they added Neo4j to their stack, using Cypher and a custom ETL to continuously integrate their RDBMS and build real‑time ancestral trees. The graph approach made relationships easy to query and fast to expose, enabling new insights that improve public services with minimal friction and few implementation challenges.
