A Neo4j Case Study
The customer Intuit, a major financial software company, needed to safeguard the data of its 100 million customers but found it challenging to map its vast network of over 500,000 endpoints and quickly locate security vulnerabilities. This manual process was time-consuming and hindered their ability to respond rapidly to threats.
Intuit implemented a solution using the Neo4j knowledge graph, powered by AuraDB and Graph Data Science, to build its Security Knowledge and Insights Platform (SKIP). Using the Neo4j Bloom visualization tool, Intuit can now attribute 500,000 DNS endpoints to host names in milliseconds, perform 75 million database updates per hour, and respond to zero-day vulnerabilities almost immediately. This has resulted in a much safer environment for customer data and a significant boost in developer productivity.
