Case Study: GraphAware achieves better graph data modeling and performance with Neo4j

A Neo4j Case Study

GraphAware - Customer Case Study

GraphAware needed a better way to model complex, uneven people data that didn’t fit well in Oracle, where a table had grown to 255 columns and 70% of them were NULL. The company turned to Neo4j and its Spring Data Neo4j / Neo4j OGM tooling to handle graph-based domain modeling instead of awkward relational structures.

Using Neo4j, GraphAware helped deliver a highly performant object-graph mapping approach that supported both embedded and wire-based access, including a Bolt driver in later versions. The result was simpler application logic, better support for changing data shapes, and a solution that matched the needs of talent analysis and internal workforce planning, helping the team move beyond the limitations of the old RDBMS setup.
