Faceit partnered with Neo4j to model social relationships and power real-time, personalized competition recommendations. A friends-import proof of concept generated a third of all friend requests within weeks, and 20% of users joined competitions via Neo4j-enabled recommendations—the platform’s highest join rate—driving stronger engagement and making Faceit more attractive to game developers; the solution runs on Google Cloud.
