Bflows is a cash flow management solution that helps businesses better manage working capital, but it needed a way to handle a fast-growing network of unpaid invoices and complex debtor-creditor relationships. Traditional relational databases were too slow and inefficient for analyzing these interconnected payment patterns, especially as the data scaled into millions of invoices and tens of thousands of companies.

Using Neo4j Aura Enterprise on AWS, Neo4j Graph Data Science, and Neo4j Bloom, Bflows reorganized invoice data into a graph to identify clusters, anomalies, and payment cycles. With Neo4j, the company reduced analysis time for 90 million invoices from three weeks to about four days, while also improving payment optimization and gaining faster insights into when companies could be helped to get paid sooner.
