A Neo4j Case Study
Citrix, a company essential to remote work, faced challenges in storing and analyzing the complex, highly connected relationships within its Analytics Data Platform. As their data grew, relational databases became limiting for managing deep connections between millions of entities. To overcome this, Citrix turned to vendor Neo4j for its graph database solution.
The solution implemented by Neo4j provided a native graph data model that treats relationships as data itself, enabling efficient analysis and scale. This allowed Citrix to better predict security threats and ensure data privacy through multi-tenancy in a single graph. The results were significant, with the graph now containing 25 million nodes and 150 million edges, queried 40,000 times an hour. Neo4j's platform became central to Citrix Analytics, providing enhanced security and continuous uptime.
