Using an LMS to make classes more engaging

De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, a leading Philippine university, needed to make classes more engaging, extend access to local and international learners, reduce printing costs, and scale e-learning across campus. To address these challenges they adopted NEO (NEO LMS by CYPHER LEARNING), initially on the free tier and later upgrading to the premium LMS to support broader institutional use.

Using the NEO LMS platform and a program of face-to-face and online training and support, the university scaled from a pilot to a 14,000‑student deployment (initially subscribing for 7,000 students then adding the rest). NEO enabled more interactive, accessible learning—students and teachers can access lessons anytime, parents can monitor progress, printing costs were reduced, and the university launched additional online courses and programs that generated extra enrollment.
