Santa Barbara Unified School District, one of California’s oldest districts, needed an affordable, user‑friendly learning management system that teachers and students would actually use. As part of its strategic plan the district chose NEO (NEO LMS), drawn to the platform’s ease of use and the vendor’s responsiveness, including engagement from CEO Graham Glass.
NEO was rolled out voluntarily and quickly became the district’s digital hub, housing all teaching and learning resources, enabling cross‑district teacher collaboration, and supporting interventions by letting counselors and teachers track student performance across classes. The rubrics feature improved grading consistency, adoption spread district‑wide, and educators now rely on NEO for instruction and student support.
