Lafarge Cement activity management with Oracle Hyperion Planning

Lafarge, a global construction materials leader, needed to redesign its cement activity management and budget preparation process as the group shifted toward a more geographic operating model. The company wanted better country-level visibility, a simpler planning model, more sustainable tools, and stronger simulation and dashboard capabilities. Nell'Armonia supported the initiative using Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE).

Nell'Armonia implemented a P&L and budgeting solution based on KPIs, variance analysis, and consolidation across Country-Region-Group levels, with budget building driven by inductors. The project used an agile approach, Smart View as the single user interface, and a full-scale stress test before go-live. As a result, Lafarge launched on schedule without a parallel run, users in both central and country teams quickly adopted the new system, and automation saved corporate teams time in preparing financial communications.
