The Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd. (J&K Bank), a large private sector bank with 1000+ branches, needed a better way to manage legacy data across multiple systems while reducing storage and backup costs, improving performance, and meeting regulatory retention and reporting requirements. It turned to Nelito Systems Ltd. and its FinCraft Data Archival and Retrieval Solution (FinDART) to address these challenges.

Nelito Systems Ltd. implemented FinDART to archive data from four source systems, support MIS and regulatory reports, and provide a searchable record retrieval feature. The project, completed in 10+ months with two servers at the bank’s Jammu office, delivered space-efficient backups, improved efficiency, and better compliance, while also enabling successful report extraction and archival of legacy platforms such as B2K, Nelco, Kale, and IBR.
