National Housing Bank (NHB) implements Nelito Systems’ Centralized Online Reporting and MIS Solution

National Housing Bank (NHB), the apex housing finance institution and a subsidiary of RBI, needed a centralized way to manage online reporting from Housing Finance Companies and to improve its internal MIS and analytics. NHB faced challenges with unorganized data, missing MIS reports, difficulty compiling internal and external reports, and the need to enable HFCs to submit prescribed returns online. Nelito Systems Ltd. was engaged to develop and implement the Centralized Online Reporting and MIS Solution (ORS).

Nelito Systems Ltd. implemented an end-to-end centralized reporting platform with hardware/software setup, a central data repository, data cleansing, backup/DRS, dashboards, alerts, digital signatures, and secure online submissions via an internet portal. The solution also included MIS and analytical reporting, scrutiny tools, legacy data upload, and integration services for government data sharing. As a result, NHB gained better decision-making through historical dashboards, automated confirmations for report registration/submission/rejection, a centralized report repository, and improved comparison of HFC filings across financial years, frequencies, return types, and report dates.
