Directorate General of Assam Rifles selects Nelito’s HRMS Software for Automation of Personnel Records

Assam Rifles, India’s oldest central paramilitary force, needed to move from a manual, fragmented records process to a centrally managed internet-based platform with better integration across its many locations. The organization worked with Nelito Systems Ltd. to automate personnel records for officers, JCOs, other ranks, and civil staff, including deputation cases, smart ID cards, and information kiosks.

Nelito Systems Ltd. implemented an HRMS-style software solution for the Directorate General of Assam Rifles that covered over 1.3 lakh employees, automated 13 crore fields, and supported records management across 102 locations. The system introduced a three-level approval workflow, offline and online operation, MD5 encryption, and centralized handling of working and retired staff, helping reduce manual effort, duplicate records, and manpower needs while improving accuracy, speed, and authorization of service records.
