How Sparks Uses Nectar To Recognize Employees Throughout The Organization

Sparks, a Philadelphia-based events services company with about 950 employees, faced the challenge of creating a recognition program that genuinely encouraged every employee to participate. To tackle this, Sparks partnered with Nectar HR and adopted Nectar HR's employee Recognition and Rewards platform to make recognition simple, visible, and integrated with existing HR systems.

Nectar HR implemented its Recognition and Rewards platform across the company, driving a "pay it forward" culture, increasing administrative bandwidth, and making it easy for all roles — even receptionists — to receive regular praise. In the first six months (July 1–Dec 31, 2022) Sparks recorded 2,516 shoutouts, 1,461 comments and 789 reactions, demonstrating strong engagement and measurable impact from the Nectar HR solution.
