How Nectar increased employee engagement by 78% with Town of Mead

The Town of Mead, a growing municipal government in northern Colorado serving about 6,500 residents and roughly 50 full‑time employees, struggled with low engagement and manually run wellness programs (only about 35–36% participation). To address morale and participation issues they implemented Nectar HR’s employee engagement, wellness, and recognition platform.

Nectar HR enabled easy-to-administer wellness challenges and recognition via web and mobile access for frontline and office staff, removing paperwork and boosting accessibility. As a result, wellness participation rose from 36% to 65% in year one and to 78% by 2023, recognition reached 100% participation in 2022–2023, turnover fell from 22% (2021) to 13% (2023) with a projected 6% in 2024, and eNPS improved from −42 to 33.
