A Nectar HR Case Study
Atlas Travel & Technology Group, a Massachusetts-based travel management company of about 220 employees, faced rising disengagement after shifting to a mostly remote workforce and relied on a time-consuming, spreadsheet-based recognition process that took up to 32 hours a month and often overlooked back-office staff. To sustain its culture of appreciation and better connect remote and in-office teams, Atlas selected Nectar HR’s recognition platform (Nectar) to modernize and scale their employee recognition program.
Implemented in April 2023, Nectar HR automated company-wide shout-outs, visibility, and challenge-based engagement, eliminating manual tracking and freeing HR to focus on strategic work. The result was strong adoption (97% of employees recognized), over 32 hours saved per month, and a more than 50% reduction in voluntary turnover (from 12.9% to 5.7%), with employees reporting higher morale and connection.
