A NEC Display Solutions Case Study
V Television Station, a new Québec-based broadcaster targeting viewers aged 18–49, needed a cutting-edge, touchless video-wall solution to give two daily programs a dynamic on-screen look while meeting broadcast-grade image quality and durability requirements. Working with integrator Simbioz, the station evaluated NEC Display Solutions products (including tests with a 57" NEC MultiSync LCD5710 FT‑57) before selecting a final display technology.
NEC Display Solutions supplied 14 of its 46" MultiSync X461UN panels, installed in 2x2 and 3x2 near-seamless matrices; Simbioz integrated touchless interaction using two cameras per interactive matrix and Vista Systems’ Spyder processor, plus a control-room console for layout and content management. The NEC Display Solutions installation delivered high-definition, nearly bezel-less visuals and hands-free interactivity—enabling web and video content on air, greater production flexibility, and a distinctive, engaging viewer experience for V Television Station.
