University of Ottawa makes NEC projectors its VIPs in new multi-purpose conference room

The University of Ottawa tasked itself with outfitting a new VIP multi-purpose conference room that would showcase the campus while remaining cost-conscious and easy to support. The school needed timely delivery, strong service/support (including lamp and accessory repairs), and a range of presentation technologies that could handle video, different sources and flexible seating. To meet these needs the University selected NEC Display Solutions and its NP4001 and NP4000 installation projectors.

NEC Display Solutions installed two NP4001s and two NP4000s, providing brighter, crisper images, a wider aspect ratio and DLP video playback, plus capabilities such as picture-in-picture, scaling, translation, recording/streaming and remote management via a wireless touch panel and AMX control. The solution increased the room’s presentation flexibility and reliability, delivered the required technical support and earned significant public exposure and strong compliments from North American delegates and company representatives.
