New York-Presbyterian Hospital- Customer Case Study

New York-Presbyterian Hospital, a leading integrated academic health center, faced limitations with outdated 20-inch TVs and inadequate projectors that hindered minimally invasive surgery visualization, student observation, and conference presentations. To upgrade imaging across operating rooms, conference spaces and public areas, the hospital selected NEC Display Solutions' 50-inch plasma displays and high-performance projectors.

NEC Display Solutions deployed 50-inch plasmas in more than 100 operating rooms and installed over 100 plasmas and projectors across conference and teaching areas. The high-resolution, bright, and silent displays—together with projectors featuring Advanced AccuBlend—improved surgeons’ ability to see fine detail (enhancing precision and helping reduce recovery time), while delivering clearer, more legible presentations and easier operation for staff and students.
