NEC Projector Transforms Hotel Exterior into Eye-Catching Digital Art Display

FOUND:RE Phoenix, a 105-room hotel in Phoenix’s Roosevelt Row arts district, needed a way to showcase local digital and interactive art across several stories of its stucco exterior. To meet that challenge the hotel worked with Audio Visual Associates/consultant James Spiro, who selected NEC Display Solutions’ NP-PH1202HL1 projector (with NaViSet Administrator 2 for content management) to address issues of surface texture, keystone distortion and light spill.

NEC Display Solutions’ single NP-PH1202HL1 laser projector — mounted in a custom booth and portrait stand and using built‑in 3‑D cornerstone correction — delivered a 49‑foot‑high by 22‑foot‑wide multistory projection, installed in one day and running remotely on a schedule. The installation has transformed the streetscape into a public digital art spectacle, drawn strong guest and local attention, and simplified operation and maintenance while inspiring future art-driven projects.
