NEC Monitors Deliver Authentic Color in High School Photography Class

The Waterford School in Salt Lake City needed to upgrade its photography labs so students could learn professional digital workflows without wasting ink and time on inconsistent monitors. Faced with a mixed set of aging screens that required frequent recalibration and produced prints that didn’t match on‑screen color, the school selected NEC Display Solutions to provide professional-grade displays and color‑management tools.

NEC Display Solutions installed MultiSync P221W‑BK, P232W‑BK and P242W‑BK monitors along with SpectraView calibration software and the SpectraSensor Pro, delivering wide Adobe RGB coverage, ambient‑aware brightness and repeatable color. As a result, calibration frequency fell from multiple times per month to once every 10 weeks, ink and paper usage dropped by 30–40%, lab setup was completed in hours, and overall student print quality and workflow efficiency improved.
