NEC LCD monitors boost school spirit for Bryant University students and faculty

Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, struggled to get time-sensitive information to over 3,000 students and about 300 faculty when posted notices and email weren’t cutting through. To improve timeliness and visibility, Bryant turned to NEC Display Solutions and selected NEC LCD panels — including the 21.3" MultiSync LCD2110 and 15" AccuSync LCD52V — as the core of a campus digital messaging strategy.

NEC Display Solutions deployed 50 displays across hallways, the library café, classrooms and labs, enabling multimedia announcements, 30–60 second student PSAs, and faster, fully digital workflows. The campus saw a shift from print to electronic messaging, reduced time to publish notices, broader reach of communications, and recognition as a Top 25 Most Connected Campus (Princeton Review/Forbes) in early 2006.
