Intelsat, a global leader in satellite communications, needed to consolidate four separate operations centers into a single Network Operations Center (NOC) to gain complete, real-time visibility over mission‑critical global networks. To meet those requirements, Intelsat selected NEC Display Solutions’ hardware and Hiperwall software to provide a large, high-resolution monitoring surface.

NEC Display Solutions supplied 72 55-inch X555UNV displays in a 3x24 configuration with onboard OPS modules running Hiperwall, creating a 6.75‑by‑96‑foot video wall that reduced cabling and hardware footprint while enabling flexible multi-source layouts. The installation now supports 24/7 monitoring by 25–35 staff, improved fault and performance visibility, helped merge previously separate teams, and delivers measurable results: 72 panels, a single-pane visual appearance with strong color consistency, and a dramatically upgraded NOC operational capability.
