NEC Display Gives Northwest Elementary School $25K Tech Makeover

Northwest Elementary School in Chatsworth, GA faced dim, unreliable projectors that made it difficult for students to see lessons and disrupted classroom instruction. The school won NEC Display Solutions’ $25,000 Tech Makeover, receiving educational-grade equipment including 29 2,800‑lumen NEC VE281X projectors and a mix of NEC E324, AS192WM and E464 displays to modernize its classrooms.

NEC Display Solutions installed 29 VE281X projectors, 23 32″ E324 LED displays, eight 19″ AS192WM desktop monitors and one E464 commercial display, enabling daily multimedia lessons, clearer document‑camera images and centralized morning announcements. As a result, students can see projects much more clearly, teachers report higher engagement and usability, the school outfitted all 29 classrooms, and savings from the prize even allowed Northwest Elementary School to purchase eight new computers.
