A NEC Display Solutions Case Study

NEC cooks up a digital signage treat in the GE Monogram® Design Center

GE Monogram Design Center in New York City needed digital signage that would complement a New York–themed showroom, enhance cooking demonstrations and seminars, and fit tight architectural constraints (a Times Square column with no room for projection). To meet these goals GE worked with Rethink Innovations and chose NEC Display Solutions’ 46” MultiSync LCD4620 displays for their thin bezels, price point and screen quality.

NEC Display Solutions provided nine 46” MultiSync LCD4620 units: six mounted as two 3x1 tiled video walls on the Times Square column (running portrait content mastered at 1080 x 1920), two for the 50-seat working kitchen (including one flip-down/hideable unit), and one for the conference room. The install delivered the desired Times Square look with minimal bezel gaps, improved visibility for demos and training, and created an engaging showroom backdrop that better showcases Monogram appliances.
