A NEC Display Solutions Case Study

Preview of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Case Study

Metro Toronto Convention Centre makes NEC displays the “centre” of attention

Metro Toronto Convention Centre faced a wayfinding challenge across its two-building, 600,000+ sq. ft. facility that hosts more than 750 events and two million visitors annually. To replace aging monochrome LED boards and provide brighter, more legible directional information for groups of 40–40,000, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre selected NEC Display Solutions and its 46" MultiSync LCD4610 displays.

NEC Display Solutions supplied and deployed 23 46" MultiSync LCD4610 screens (initial order 19, plus 4 more) arranged in dual configurations across the center, with content managed by Omnivex and integration by Trans-Lux. The NEC solution runs up to 18 hours a day, delivers clearer, full-color real-time wayfinding and company logos, and has measurably improved guest navigation—so successful the center expanded the install and reports attendees locate events more easily and respond to live updates.
