Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI sought to improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce upkeep time by upgrading aging reading-station displays so clinicians could spot critical details in X‑rays and MRIs more reliably. They selected NEC Display Solutions’ hardware and software — specifically the NEC 21" MultiSync MD213MC and GammaComp MD QA software — to meet those needs.

NEC Display Solutions deployed MD213MC monitors in multi‑head configurations across radiology, the breast diagnostic center, ICU, ED and sister sites (39 initially; 94 LCDs installed organization‑wide, with 11 at Calumet and 44 at St. Elizabeth), replacing older MD21GS units. The NEC solution delivered substantially higher brightness and resolution, built‑in calibration sensors, and remote management via GammaComp MD QA, producing an overall performance increase across biomedical, radiology and IT teams while minimizing travel for technicians and enabling immediate QA/alerts.
