Manhattan AV Super Store Adds NEC Video Wall to Demo Aerial Imagery from Drones

B&H Photo, a 70,000-square-foot New York superstore that sees more than 5,000 visitors a day, faced a challenge in showing customers what drone-mounted cameras can really do: demo flights inside a small in-store cage couldn’t convey the high-altitude, wide-format imagery buyers expect. To create a larger-than-life, interactive demo area, B&H selected NEC Display Solutions and installed a plug-and-play 2x2 video wall using four NEC X464UNS TMX4P panels.

NEC Display Solutions supplied the bundled kit (mounts, cables, monitors and calibration tools), enabling straightforward installation and color/ bezel alignment; the result is a high-brightness, 1920×1080 video wall linked to an interactive touchscreen kiosk. The NEC video wall showcases drone footage by model, helps customers better understand capabilities and narrow their purchase choices, and gives sales staff a powerful visual sales tool — increasing in-store engagement and even motivating staff to contribute their own drone footage.
