International Specialty Products builds a digital communications bridge with NEC

International Specialty Products (ISP), a global specialty chemicals company with more than 3,000 employees, faced a widening communications gap between its Wayne, NJ headquarters and multiple locations and was hampered by outdated static lobby and tradeshow signage. To modernize messaging and create a more dynamic visitor experience, ISP worked with integrator ProActive and selected NEC Display Solutions’ commercial displays—specifically 46" NEC MultiSync LCD4620 and 40" NEC MultiSync LCD4020 panels—to replace the static lightboxes.

NEC Display Solutions provided a digital signage system including seven 46" LCD4620s (four tiled as a 1x4 video wall in the lobby, three for a nearby lobby) and nine 40" LCD4020s for the tradeshow booth, integrated with Omnivex software and Mac minis for easy content updates. The solution eliminated printed-panel costs, enabled real-time and personalized messaging, boosted visitor engagement and internal communications, has been expanded to additional U.S. sites (with EU rollout under consideration), and—per ISP—paid for itself after just a couple of tradeshows while standardizing content across locations.
