Ingram Micro Showcases Digital Signage Expertise with NEC Displays and VS Networks

Ingram Micro, a global technology solutions provider, faced a fragmented digital signage environment at its Buffalo campus: displays from multiple vendors produced no unified look or centralized content control. To showcase its own AV capabilities and ensure reliable, commercial‑grade performance, Ingram Micro partnered with NEC Display Solutions, deploying NEC 55" and 65" commercial displays (including X551UN/X552UN, V552 and V652 models) alongside a content platform from VS Networks.

NEC Display Solutions supplied three video walls (2x2 configurations of NEC X551UN), four 65" V652 panels and 38 55" V552 signs, while VS Networks delivered a custom CMS with 70% interactive/animated content, dual‑OS media players for uninterrupted playback, and 24/7 RS232 monitoring; SurgeX power protection and Peerless AV mounts completed the installation. The result: a consistent, vibrant campus‑wide system that centralized corporate messaging while allowing localized control, turned the Buffalo campus into a showroom for Ingram Micro’s digital signage expertise, and provided a scalable, reliably monitored solution backed by NEC.
