A NEC Display Solutions Case Study
The Historical Society Of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, custodian of hundreds of thousands of printed items and millions of manuscripts, needed a way to present rare, fragile documents and artifacts more visibly and dramatically during a major renovation. To attract a broader public while protecting originals, the organization selected NEC Display Solutions’ NEC 46” X463UN video displays to create large, bright, and reliable digital exhibits.
NEC Display Solutions’ 46" X463UN panels were installed as two freestanding 3×3 portrait video walls and a 2×2 donor wall (integrated into custom enclosures and paired with curated content), leveraging the displays’ ultra-thin bezels, 24/7 reliability, and low power/heat output. The NEC solution increased street-level visibility, improved donor recognition, and helped drive attendance—after reopening HSP saw in one month the same number of visitors it previously averaged in three months—while delivering flexible, low-maintenance ways to showcase the collection.
