A NEC Display Solutions Case Study
Arizona State University faced inconsistent and frustrating classroom technology across its growing campuses, particularly in the new Lattie F. Coor Hall, where professors had to learn different systems in each room and IT staff were inundated with urgent support requests. To simplify instruction and improve reliability, ASU chose to standardize its mediated classrooms on NEC Display Solutions projectors, leveraging the vendor’s high-resolution, low-maintenance projection technology.
NEC Display Solutions, with installation support from CCS Presentations Systems and purchase assistance via the SMARTer Kids Foundation grant program, outfitted Coor Hall with standardized NEC projectors—25 classrooms with two projectors each and a nearly 300-seat auditorium using three side-by-side units. The deployment delivered brighter, consistent images, easier single-panel control and automatic wall-color correction, reduced support incidents, enabled faster class starts, and freed up lecture time so students learn more each semester.
