San Francisco Unified School District - Customer Case Study

San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) needed to turn a district-wide Common Core math curriculum and a major iPad rollout into measurable classroom learning during the critical middle-school years. With funding and volunteer support from the Salesforce.com Foundation, SFUSD partnered with Nearpod to deploy the Nearpod platform, develop interactive, iPad-ready math lessons, and provide teacher training so technology would support standards-aligned instruction, engagement, and differentiated learning.

Nearpod collaborated with SFUSD’s Math Team to create 100+ Common Core–aligned Nearpod-enabled lessons, build a district-exclusive lesson library and templates, and deliver professional development and self-paced training. The solution produced stronger student engagement, real-time formative assessment, and easier peer sharing; since rollout teachers have delivered more than 800 Nearpod lessons in SFUSD middle schools, trained dozens of teachers in bootcamps, and begun scaling the program to additional schools, demonstrating clear adoption and classroom impact.
