LEO Academy Trust engages 5,000 students with Nearpod

LEO Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust of nine primary schools in the UK, sought to advance personalized learning and ensure engagement and inclusion for its 5,000 students, particularly during the shift to remote learning. The challenge was to empower educators with tools that would enrich the curriculum without overwhelming their workloads.

The Trust implemented Nearpod, which became the central element of its learning ecosystem. The platform provided versatile and immersive learning experiences that engaged students and saved teachers time on lesson preparation. As a result, over 60 teachers consistently used Nearpod to support more than 3,500 pupils in learning at their own pace, improving collaboration among staff and motivating students through features like Time to Climb. Nearpod empowered the Trust to explore unique teaching methods and deliver high-quality, inclusive education.
