McDonald’s Singapore increases footfall and boosts sales with OOH advertisements

McDonalds Singapore wanted to increase store footfall and raise awareness for new product categories, so it partnered with Stellar Ace on an out-of-home (OOH) campaign. To add a digital layer to the traditional OOH effort, Stellar Ace used Near’s people-and-places intelligence to help target commuters on mobile after they were exposed to ads across Singapore’s transit network.

Near powered Stellar Ace’s Ace Biota adtech platform to track exposed commuters by device ID, retarget them on mobile, and attribute in-store visits back to the OOH campaign. Near also built a lookalike audience to measure attribution lift, helping McDonalds Singapore better estimate return on ad spend; the campaign delivered a strong audience response and improved footfall and sales impact.
