BIG W needed a way to help shoppers better understand the size and fit of these items before buying, while making the online shopping experience more engaging and less uncertain.
Near supported the campaign alongside Yahoo’s Immersive Platform, which powered augmented reality ads that let customers view products in 360 degrees and place them in a real-time location via mobile. The campaign drove strong engagement, including a 62% engagement rate with 3D objects, 32 seconds average time spent, a 16% CTR to the online shopping cart, and a 48% uplift in BIG W store visits, with native AR ad engagers delivering a 2.5x uplift in store visits.
