The World Trade Organization Trades up to NComputing

The World Trade Organization (WTO), which hosts an annual conference for thousands of delegates, needed reliable, secure and cost‑effective computing access throughout the vast Hong Kong Convention Centre — in press and delegate centers, cyber cafes, NGO areas and lounges — but notebooks and desktop PCs were too expensive, space‑inefficient and time‑consuming to deploy.

Working with reseller Targa, the WTO deployed over 500 NComputing L‑series access stations, delivering a simple, fast-to-install solution that provided PC‑class performance and met security needs. The rollout cut energy use by roughly 80%, reduced computer costs by about 80%, and proved highly reliable and easy to maintain, earning strong user and organizer approval.
