Simplifying Hospital IT Management

Avcılar Hospital, a healthcare provider in Istanbul since 1998, faced growing IT challenges: dozens of full PCs across clinical and administrative areas were costly to maintain, consumed over 200W each, generated heat and noise, and caused long downtime when components failed. Limited IT staff and the need for centralized management made keeping systems running reliably and economically a priority.

The hospital deployed NComputing L-series access terminals (via distributor Dojop Technologies), enabling centralized management, remote assistance, and a compact, silent, energy-efficient workstation for every user. The rollout cut upfront and ongoing costs, reduced maintenance and power use, improved staff productivity, and was later expanded to doctors’ offices and the hospital’s adjoining school.
