eNate, a software company serving chiropractors, wanted to make its web-based patient record and billing system easier and more affordable to deploy in every room of a clinic. Its challenge was to create a complete paperless office solution with touchscreen workstations while avoiding the higher hardware, support, and maintenance costs of traditional thin-client setups. NComputing’s L-series and access devices were used to connect multiple workstations to a central PC.

NComputing enabled eNate to deliver a complete chiropractic office management solution by sharing one PC across multiple rooms, giving each user internet access to eNate’s software through durable, low-maintenance access devices. The result was huge savings in hardware costs, plus simpler deployment and ongoing support and maintenance savings. One customer, Dargis Charest, was able to get the office running in the time it took to plug in the devices, while also reducing support costs by maintaining only one PC.
