BOA Group, a global supplier of flexible metal solutions, needed a faster and more reliable way to analyze complex road load data and validate custom exhaust flex-joint designs. The company had been relying on multiple tools such as Excel and MATLAB to convert test data, calculate stresses and strains, and build duty cycles, which made the process manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors. BOA selected nCode’s GlyphWorks and DesignLife to streamline test data analysis and fatigue assessment in a single environment.

With nCode GlyphWorks and DesignLife, BOA automated much of its RLDA processing, eliminated file conversion steps, and created custom scripts for stress-life, strain-life, 6 DOF motion analysis, reporting, and fatigue prediction. The result was faster on-site analysis during proving-ground testing, real-time design decisions, reduced risk of repeat testing, and quicker design optimization without rerunning RLDA. According to BOA, this approach helps get products to market faster and increases confidence in early-stage design changes.
