AgustaWestland selects nCode GlyphWorks for Super Lynx 300

AgustaWestland, the helicopter division of Finmeccanica, needed a safer and more efficient way to certify new military helicopter capabilities and configurations without slowing deployment or relying on repeated testing. The company turned to nCode GlyphWorks analysis software, including its Accelerated Testing module, to better compare certification test specifications with real flight data and support read-across evidence, de-lifing/relifing analysis, and test tailoring.

Using nCode GlyphWorks, AgustaWestland reduced unnecessary retesting, improved control over safety margins, and accelerated qualification work for the Super Lynx 300. One example cut test duration from 140 hours to 48 hours, and the company said it was previously spending £100k’s a year on needless retesting; nCode reported that the tests became faster, cheaper, and more representative while increasing the safety margin.
