Judo Bank - Customer Case Study

Judo Bank is a Melbourne-based challenger bank founded in 2016 to fill a gap in the Australian market where major banks were no longer meeting small and medium-sized enterprises’ needs. Led by co-founder and Chief Product Officer Tim Alexander, the bank built a relationship-first culture focused on face-to-face service and needed a modern, end-to-end technology platform to make lending “human again” and scale quickly—even while launching projects during COVID-19.

Judo chose nCino’s Commercial Banking solution for its banker-built design, speed and people, and partnered with SI Accenture for implementation. With transparent communication, empowered decision-making and virtual collaboration, the rollout moved rapidly; nCino is now a strategic partner that supports Judo’s lending and deposit products and positions the bank to consolidate systems end-to-end and add AI capabilities while preserving its relationship-led model.
